Does anyone know how to cure conjunctivitis in a kitten? - conjunctivitis more condition_symptoms

My brother-sister found a kitten, very young and has what looks like conjunctivitis. Does anyone know a possible home treatment? Please let me know as soon as possible. The kitten is perhaps only a month. Besides no one noticed before? Their return to the toes of his left foot, which seems to have disappeared completely. It seems that it bother you, but I would still worry about?

The kitten probably caught herpes from the mother at birth. Remove your eyes with a warm towel, and when all the Goop is released, you can save newspapers Neosporin on the eyelid when some in the eyes of his fortune, they do no harm. if the problem persists, take him to the vet

When I heard that things were not Goopy kitten in the eye, but when I met the vet wipe his eyes and said it was nothing ... 4 weeks later, they are healthy and functioning. I would say not to rush to the vet, but when cleaned, then go to the vet.

Also, if you close the line NH / MA and want to help bottle-feeding, I, I have much experience with the bottle and about the socialization of young kittens are out.

In addition, some cats have extra toes, some cats are missing toes, do not seem to bother, do not worry ... My cat has a "preview".

You or your brother-in-law was the cat to the vet immediately. A kitten that young needs special attention and should be protected in full. The vet will tell you how to take care of eye problems have the cat in May. Good luck.

You should really take the cat to the vet. Never had a home remedy for something heard so serious as conjunctivitis.

This virus is probably herpes. It is not contagious to humans.

but it must be treated by a veterinarian .... Antibiotics are necessary for his recovery.

No treatment at home for this type of eye infection. They must receive veterinary medicines. Some cats are born with the fingers or toes, than most. It happens. To make sure it was a birth defect and not something that hangs or scabs, as they require immediate medical attention if it is. Good luck!

Please take the cat to the vet. Conjunctivitis can be caused by a number of things. One problem might be that it a URI (an infection of the respiratory tract has) and be taken seriously. In addition, any type of bacterial infection is untreated or inadequately treated, can lead to permanent visual impairment.

Well ... You need to be sent the cat to the vet immediately.
Conjunctivitis can cause many problems for your cat ... combined, including blindness and may decide to remove the eyes.
But now you can use a cotton swab moistened with warm water and hold it against the cover for one or two minutes. It should withdraw the discharge, and only open your eyes. This is not a cure, only a temporary treatment until you can get the cat to the vet.

Flush eyes with saline solution twice a day. The most effective treatment I have found is to use the terramycin eye ointment for animals. Not a recipe, but very expensive if purchased from a veterinarian. Try eBay for the best price to purchase. Rinse the eyes in the morning and afternoon with saline solution and then keep your eyes open and placed directly on terramycin eye. Then gently pull the upper eyelid over the lower lid of the eye is to be guaranteed in Hello do it twice a day for 10 days. They know that the infection will disappear when the upper eyelid is no longer red. As for the toes, a genetic defect. If no infection or pain, Snowshoeing is great! (I've seen many cats missing toes and all were born that way.)

Try bathing the eye with warm water to prevent them from sticking together, but I suggest you get your brother to take the cat directly to the PC, and conjunctivitis is also a sign of cat flu, especially in a kitten that young and fatal without treatment, to seek an appointment as soon as possible

Good luck
